What do the colors mean

Hi,
The button with the ? that says "what do these colors mean" when you move the mouse over it does nothing when I click on it.
Is there a place that talks about what the colors mean and is there a spot that contains basic info and directions on how to perform tasks anywhere on the site that I am missing?

In the icon list Hit ? For definitions. Blue practice yellow availble green confirmed game purple note or off ice event red pending your approval orange waiting for other party to confirm the game
